Khadija Y. DeLoache is a retired Education, Curriculum Development and Training Specialist. She earned a Certificate in Physiology in 2021 from the Harvard Medical School HMX Program sponsored by TLI.
Funded by the Tax Law Institute, our scholarship program for seniors selects individuals to participate in an all-expenses-paid, online series of eight-week course(s) at Harvard Medical School. The program is open exclusively to seniors. The program is led by Khadija Y. Deloache who is the Executive Director-Designate of the Kidney Transplant Institute. Its primary objective is to help seniors learn more about managing their healthcare so they can live longer. However, the principle focus of the program is on renal education. The mission of the Kidney Transplant Institute is to encourage research and support for the development of a vaccine to eradicate the BK virus. The BK virus can destroy up to 90% of a graft implanted (kidney transplantation) as an alternative treatment to renal failure.
How to Apply
A remote curriculum - equivalent courses studied during the first year of medical school - makeup the program. There is no cost to the recipient to participate. Participants learn online with faculty using weekly assignments transmitted from Harvard Medical School. Contact the Tax Law Institute if you're interested 1.202.800.9230
